5 Potential EPL Transfers

The Euro’s have come to a close and the build-up towards the new league seasons have begun. However, there’s a little issue known as the summer transfer window still to look into.

A few sides have already conducted business, trying to strengthen their sides and offload some dead weight at the club. But what potential transfers are most likely to happen before the window closes? Well here’s 10 we reckon you should look out for.

Matheus Cunha – Leeds United 9/10

Cunha is currently away with Brazil for the Olympic games but I imagine this transfer will happen after they finish.

At Hertha Berlin, Cunha plays as both a left-winger and a striker but can play as an attacking midfielder. Bielsa loves a player who can cover multiple positions and if he can get his work rate up to fit in this high pressing Leeds side, Cunha could be a real handful.

Eduardo Camavinga – Man United 5/10

The French youth international has been on all of Europe’s radar after bursting onto the scene last season. The teenager is wanted by multiple Premier League sides but the Red Devils are in pole position for his services.

However, after the agreed transfer fee of Jadon Sancho and the impending arrival of both Varane and Trippier from La Liga, is it possible? For me, this might be one name too far and after the failed impact of Donny Van De Beek, Man United might be slightly hesitant.

Lautaro Martinez – Man City 6/10

Martinez is a name that many people who follow Serie A will have known about for 2/3 years. After winning the league this year with Inter and their money troubles it could see them cash in on the Argentinian striker.

Harry Kane seems to be the man that Pep wants for his side but Martinez could be a cheaper and better option for his City side. There’s potential but Kane seems the more likely option.

James Maddison – Arsenal 7/10

The English attacking midfielder has been on Arsenal’s radar for the past two seasons but this looks to be the summer that he trades the Foxes for the Gunners.

Although last season he was plagued by injuries, Maddison is still one of the top playmakers in the league. If Arsenal can get his signature they may be on course to right the wrongs of last season.

Declan Rice – Chelsea 8/10

Rice, a former Chelsea youth academy player, looks like he could be returning to the club. Chelsea is looking to sure up the midfield that won them the Champions League last season.

West Ham is demanding big money for the Euro 2020 finalist, but if one club is going to cough up the money it will be the Blues. Rice will replace Kovacic in the midfield and playing next to Kante can only improve his game.
