Hi, I am going to give you a fantasy football outlook on all 32 teams. I will be doing this in alphabetical order. It will be 32 teams in the next 32 days. I will be giving a fantasy stud, fantasy bust, fantasy breakout player, fantasy sleeper, top fantasy rookie, and since some leagues do defensive players – instead of team defensive, I will be doing top fantasy defensive player. So let’s get this started. Please follow me on Twitter @aaron_truesdale.
The Chiefs have no shortage of fantasy players and they’re probably one of the most stacked teams for fantasy football. The only category I had trouble picking was a fantasy bust. So therefore, these are the players I came up with to look for and avoid in fantasy football.
Fantasy Stud: Patrick Mahomes QB
No brainer. Mahomes will put up huge numbers again this season and will continue adding to his legacy. There is no reason not to take him in a fantasy football draft. So ride high with Mahomes again this season, as he helps guide you to a fantasy football championship.
Fantasy Dud: Harrison Butker K
As mentioned earlier, I had trouble picking a bust. So I just went with Butker. He struggled at times last year and hopefully he won’t struggle as much this year. Butker will still be one of the top players in his position. Don’t look for him to return to his best form but when it’s time to take a kicker, he is still safe to take in fantasy football drafts.
Fantasy Sleeper: Mecole Hardman WR
With Watkins gone, Hardman will step into his role even though he has struggled in his past and also had some injuries. He will grab hold and put up decent fantasy football numbers. He is worth a selection in the later rounds of drafts.
Fantasy Breakout: Clyde Edwards-Helaire RB
Clyde had an up-and-down rookie season and this season he will look to put all of that behind him. Look for Clyde to put up great numbers this season and expect he will finish as a top ten fantasy football running back.
Top Fantasy Rookie: Cornell Powell WR
This was a sneaky pick for the Chiefs because Powell has tons of talent. He could have some fantasy football impact this season. If Hardman can’t live up to his expectations this year, Powell could steal the show from him. Powell is worth a late-round flier in fantasy football re-draft leagues and is worth a pick in dynasty leagues.
Top Fantasy Defensive Player: Frank Clark EDGE
Clark is the guy that torments opposing quarterbacks and will get sacks, forced fumbles, and recover a few fumbles, maybe a touchdown or two. So draft Clark in fantasy football with confidence and he won’t disappoint you.
I hope you enjoy my Team Fantasy Outlooks. Please comment to let me know what you think I welcome the feedback. I also will be more than happy to discuss any player or team further.
