Hi, I am going to give you a fantasy football outlook on all 32 teams. I will be doing this in alphabetical order. It will be 32 teams in the next 32 days. I will be giving a fantasy stud, fantasy bust, fantasy breakout player, fantasy sleeper, top fantasy rookie, and since some leagues do defensive players – instead of team defensive, I will be doing top fantasy defensive player. So let’s get this started. Please follow me on Twitter @aaron_truesdale.
The Packers are going through internal turmoil, but that’s real-life and this is fantasy. The Packers don’t lack in fantasy football options. These are the players I came up with to look for and avoid.
Fantasy Stud: Davante Adams WR
Adams is the best receiver in fantasy football – hands down. The only thing I worry about with him, is if Rodgers doesn’t play quarterback for the Packers this season. Either way, he will be one of the top fantasy wide receivers again this season.
Fantasy Bust: Robert Tonyan TE
Now I know Tonyan burst into the fantasy football scene last year, however, where he is going to be drafted isn’t worth what he is going to produce this season. Look for him to be a low-end tight end two.
Fantasy Sleeper: Devin Funchess WR
Recently signed Funchess is a guy who is tall and has a lot of length that Rodgers will take advantage of. If Funchess can stay healthy this year, he will produce decent numbers. You might want to draft him late as a low-end wide receiver three or wide receiver four. If Rodgers isn’t the quarterback for the Packers this season, then disregard anything I said.
Fantasy Breakout: A.J. Dillon RB
Dillon will step into Jamaal Williams’ old role and will be better at it. Look for him to burst into fantasy football. He will be a running back three this season and if Jones gets hurt, he should jump into running back one or two territory.
Top Fantasy Rookie: Amari Rodgers WR
If Aaron Rodgers does play, Amari is a guy who could make an instant fantasy football impact this season. He could be a wide receiver three. However, if Aaron Rodgers doesn’t play – avoid him in re-draft leagues, although, he should still be a decent pick in dynasty leagues.
Top Fantasy Defensive Player: Za’Darius Smith
Who else would be here? Smith is an absolute monster on the field. He will get double-digit sacks, will force and recover some fumbles this year, maybe even an interception. He could add a couple of touchdowns as well. Smith should be one of the top defensive players off the board in fantasy football this season.
I hope you enjoy my Team Fantasy Outlooks. Please comment to let me know what you think I welcome the feedback. I also will be more than happy to discuss any player or team further.
