Hi, I am going to give you a fantasy football outlook on all 32 teams. I will be doing this in alphabetical order. It will be 32 teams in the next 32 days. I will be giving a fantasy stud, fantasy bust, fantasy breakout player, fantasy sleeper, top fantasy rookie, and since some leagues do defensive players – instead of team defensive, I will be doing top fantasy defensive player. So let’s get this started. Please follow me on Twitter @aaron_truesdale.
Cowboys fantasy options were decent but what holds the Cowboys back is their defense. So offensively, hopefully they can bounce back with Dak back.
Fantasy Stud: Ezekiel Elliott RB
Now I believe with Dak Prescott, back at quarterback for Dallas that teams won’t be able to plan just to stop the run. So look for Elliot to bounce back in a big way and return to the fantasy stud he was in years past.
Fantasy Bust: Dak Prescott QB
I’m not saying Dak is going to have a terrible fantasy, but it’s more to see how he bounces back from the injury this season. Don’t look for him to put up huge numbers his first year back from injury. I believe he will finish on the high side of quarterback two territory. This will be a disappointment based on where he will be getting drafted this season in fantasy football.
Fantasy Sleeper: Tony Pollard RB
Pollard could be a good guy to draft, not just as a handcuff for Elliott, but because I believe that Pollard will get a decent amount of time so Elliott doesn’t get overworked this season. As a result, I believe Pollard will have decent fantasy value. He would be worth a late-round flier.
Fantasy Breakout: CeeDee Lamb WR
Lamb had a decent rookie season. This season he will jump Gallup for the number two wide receiver spot on the team. So when that happens, expect a lot more targets for Lamb. Lamb will take huge strides this season compared to last. By season’s end, no doubt he will be an elite fantasy wide receiver.
Top Fantasy Rookie: Nick Eubanks TE
I went through the roster and found the Cowboys were the weakest offensively and that was at the tight end position. So I went with undrafted free agent, Nick Eubanks. They could have found the diamond in the rough with Eubanks. He won’t have any fantasy impact this season but he could be a huge fantasy impact in the future. Avoid this year in re-draft leagues but in Dynasty you could take a late round flier on him.
Top Fantasy Defensive Player: Micah Parson LB
Now I know Parson is a rookie, but I believe he will have a huge impact on the Cowboys defense this season. He will burst into the fantasy scene and will be worth a mid-round pick for leagues that use defensive players in fantasy football.
I hope you enjoy my Team Fantasy Outlooks. Please comment to let me know what you think I welcome the feedback. I also will be more than happy to discuss any player or team further.
