Fantasy Football Outlook: Cincinnati Bengals

Hi, I am going to give you a fantasy football outlook on all 32 teams. I will be doing this in alphabetical order. It will be 32 teams in the next 32 days. I will be giving a fantasy stud, fantasy bust, fantasy breakout player, fantasy sleeper, top fantasy rookie, and since some leagues do defensive players – instead of team defensive, I will be doing top fantasy defensive player. So let’s get this started. Please follow me on Twitter @aaron_truesdale.

Fantasy Overview:

The Bengals are a nice young team with fantasy prospects a plenty. There are so many players that are going to be fantasy stars for years to come and more and more players coming. These are the players I came up with to look for and avoid in fantasy football.

Fantasy Stud: Joe Burrow QB

Breaking down another dazzling Joe Burrow performance

Joe Burrow is going to be a huge fantasy star starting this season. Just look at what he did in his rookie campaign up until he got injured. He will be a quarterback one this season and for many seasons to come. I will even go out on a limb and say he could finish this season as the number one quarterback in fantasy football.

Fantasy Bust: Joe Mixon RB

Joe Mixon's massive Bengals extension gets a big reaction

Joe Mixon is always highly touted in fantasy football every year and every year he is a disappointment to fantasy owners. This has to do with him being often injured and he will continue that trend this season. He is on my do not draft list this year. So my advice – avoid him at all costs.

Fantasy Sleeper: Samaje Perine RB

Samaje Perine Re-Signs With The Bengals

Perine will rake in the playing time this season once Mixon gets injured. Trust me, Mixon will get injured this season. Perine will be an under-the-radar fantasy running back this season. My advice if you draft Mixon, draft Perine as a handcuff. Perine will be a running back two or three after Mixon gets hurt. So if he is not drafted in your fantasy league when Mixon goes down with an injury, pick him up right away off of the waiver wire.

Fantasy Breakout: Tee Higgins WR

Higgins was a wide receiver two last year already as a rookie. Look for him to take an even bigger step this year. He will be a wide receiver one in fantasy and you can expect big numbers for Higgins this season. So draft him early and as a wide receiver one and you won’t be disappointed.

Top Fantasy Rookie: Ja’Marr Chase WR

Quick Hits: Ja'Marr Chase, Joseph Ossai and Chris Evans impress at rookie minicamp

This adds just another outstanding target for Burrow and not to mention, he has a connection with Chase with them being former teammates at LSU. So expect a big year from Chase and he will be in the running for rookie of the year. Chase will be a wide receiver in fantasy football. So draft him with confidence.

Top Fantasy Defensive Player: Vonn Bell S

Bengals’ defense isn’t great. Probably will be their achilles heel this season. Vonn Bell is one of the bright spots on this defense. He plays all around the field and wherever the ball is, you will find Bell right there. He is trouble for opposing offenses. So he will be worth a mid-round pick.

I hope you enjoy my Team Fantasy Outlooks. Please comment to let me know what you think I welcome the feedback. I also will be more than happy to discuss any player or team further.
