96 Never Forgotten

15 April 1989 was supposed to be great day. Two of the best teams in the country collided in the semi-final of the FA cup. The venue was “Hillsborough” stadium in Sheffield. Liverpool – Nottingham Forrest for a spot at “Wembley”. The match didn’t happen. At 15:06 after bad managing of the crowd by the Yorkshire police and opening the gates too late the disaster happened. 94 people died on this day, 1 few days later in a hospital and the final victim died in 1993 after being in vegetative state and never regained consciousness.

96 people went to a football game and never came back. Lest we forget!
