Born on February 18, 1965, Andrew Romelle Young, Dr. Dre is one of the most – if not the most – talented artists in the music industry. He is not only a rapper, but also a record executive and producer, audio engineer, and entrepreneur. Famously known for founding Aftermath Entertainment and Beats Electronics, Dr. Dre was also an original member of the N.W.A formed in 1987. He also previously co-owned Death Row Records – co-founded with Suge Knight, The D.O.C. and Dick Griffey in 1992. His debut album, The Chronic, released in 1992 under the Death Row Records label, made him one of the top-selling American music artists in 1993. He won a Grammy for the Best Rap Solo Performance for his hit single, “Let Me Ride“. That year, he also produced Snoop Dogg’s debut album, Doggystyle.
I could sit here and write about Dre all day, but let’s get into my Top 10 song list; which will consist of a combination of his best sung and best written, produced, or featured-in hits! This wasn’t easy.
