Batista has made it very clear he’s not thrilled about the opportunity to share the screen with John Cena particularly if the two star in a so-called buddy film.
Batista who starred in The Guardians of the Galaxy made his response known by answering a fan’s tweet on Twitter, who was hoping for a chance to see both Batista and Cena star together in a “Buddy Movie.” You know the kind of movie where audiences will see two male or female actors getting together for some adventure maybe even a road trip.
Batista wrote to the fan, “You and you both!”
During Sunday’s SuperBowl LV both Batista and Cena appeared in commercials. Batista joined Actors Tracy Morgan and Lisa Koshy in a commercial for Rocket Mortgage, while Cena appeared in the new Fast and Furious 9 trailer and also Cena appeared in a Mountain Dew commercial. Batista was originally a part of the 2020 WWE Hall of Fame class but he will be inducted this year instead. Other superstars who join him are JBL, The Bella Twins, Jushin Thunder Liger, The British Bulldog, and the NWO which consists of Hulk Hogan, Sean Waltman, Scott Hall, and Kevin Nash. What’s been reported so far is the ceremony may be held as a virtual event.
