The WWE are making some moves expanding and adding to their extended roster by signing three wrestlers to contracts. They made the news by announcing it in a post on their official social media platforms on Wednesday morning. The company continues to recruit and hire some of the world’s top prospects. Priscilla Kelly, Lacey Ryan, and Elayna Black are the women who have been signed.
It’s been reported that like every wrestler who has been brought into WWE they will be getting new names. Ryan will now be called Zoey Stark, Kelly takes on the name of Gigi Dolin, and Black is now known as Cora Jade. Many fans are already speculating about how WWE worded their tweet on Twitter. A common belief might be that these ladies could be debuting in the first-ever Women’s Dusty Rhodes Tag Team Classic, which as we all know this very tournament starts on the Wednesday night Jan. 20th episode of WWE NXT on the USA Network.
Kelly has been familiar with working an event for the WWE before when she worked and competed in WWE’s second ever Mae Young Classic. Kelly lost to current Knockouts Champion Deonna Purrazzo in the opening round of action. She also shocked fans by making a sulfide appearance at AEW All Out pay-per-view wrestling in the Casino Battle Royal. She would lose to Britt Baker on a January 2020 episode of AEW Dynamite. Kelly had been married to current AEW TNT Champion Darby Allin.
WWE continues to make additions to an already impressive women’s roster with signing these three ladies who will soon debut for NXT.
