Big things are continuing to happen between the current AEW and Impact Wrestling as they are still working together. Something special might be going down on tonight’s episode of Impact. Impact Hall of Famer Ken Shamrock took to Twitter on Monday night suggesting that he met Tony Khan who is the President and CEO of AEW.
Shamrock’s tweet read “@Tony Khan meeting you again hopefully our paths can cross again.”
What’s interesting about this is the fact Khan has yet to respond to Shamrock’s tweet. To make matters more intriguing, Impact ring-announcer David Penzer took to his Twitter on Monday night and posted a big teaser for tonight’s episode. Penzer also does a good job hyping up the program. Here’s what he tweeted out:
It is no doubt going to be a very big show for tonight’s Impact episode. Why is this such a big deal? Well because a lot will be learned from the events which transpired at the Hard To Kill pay-per-view that took place Saturday. If viewers got an opportunity to watch what happened concerning that historic 6-man main-event matchup, fans saw AEW World Champion Kenny Omega & Impact World Tag-Team Champions The Good Brothers defeat Impact World Champion Rich Swann, TNA World Heavyweight Champion Moose, and Chris Sabin. Everyone has been raving over the finish to a great contest featuring all these tremendous athletes. Omega pinned Swann, teasing a possible singles match between top stars who wrestle in their respective companies.
Impact have only announced two matches for tonight’s card ahead of an action-packed episode after Hard To Kill from this weekend. Eric Young vs. Rhino, plus Knockouts tag-team action where Kimber Lee & Susan take on Jordynne Grace & Jazz.
So, will Shamrock show up on AEW Dynamite on Wednesday night or what will “The World’s Most Dangerous Man” be up to when it comes to Impact tonight on AXS TV at 8/7 C?
