Champions League Game Suspended Due To Racism

Tonight’s game between PSG and Istanbul Başakşehir has been postponed due to an alleged racist incident. The incident took place between the 4th official and one of the coaches of Istanbul.

Both sets of players abandoned the game in protest of the incident. The altercation took place on the 15th minute of the first half.

Former Newcastle United striker Demba Ba was at the forefront after the official reported used a racist term. Ba can be seen explaining what took place to another official and standing up for his teams coach.

Although what the official alleged said has not been revealed, there is no room for racism in the world of football and a full UEFA probe into the incident will take place.

Credit to Demba Ba and both sets of players for standing up against the alleged racist incident and for banding together in this horrible situation.
